Omar Elshinawy – a business student from Alexandria – started thinking in a different way. He believes that with the rate changes between currencies and the raise of prices and with the increasing of the inflation rate, we should start utilizing the resources we have. Omar assures that each one of us at least has one thing we do not use or we do not even need. Omar’s startup “Ya Balash” – was actually part of his graduation project – suggests that each person should find the things he/she doesn’t use and upload it on the website, while in return he/she can search for other “unneeded” products from other people where they can both simply exchange them.

Prices are usually set through several things for example: demand and supply, season, cost, target segment market. On the Yabalash Website each item will be posted with a monetary price after deducting the depreciation cost and so on. However, since any product’s value differs from one person to the other, then even products from different price ranges can be exchanged.

It is interesting how the world is turning back to how it first started. Human beings keep going through trials and errors, and with each cycle new observations are created. Perhaps what is an error in a certain era, could be a solution in another.

Omar Elshinawy – the founder of Ya Balash – shares below the Mission, Vision and Objectives of his startup.
