9-8-2014 – The Call
By the end of the weekend, Saturday evening, I got a phone call from a weird lady informing me that I have an interview the next day at 3 PM in a well-known “Advertising Agency”. I have known the agency for a while as they were one of the competitors of the first marketing agency I’ve worked at. I heard from one of my colleagues who worked there before that they have a PSYCHO manager. I was kind of desperate… I do need a job, so it happened… and I went to the interview.
10-8-2014 – The Interview
In a very hot day… very hot, I arrived at the interview at 2:45 PM. I’m trying to be professional and arrive early and bla.. bla.. bla.
He had a meeting, so I started the interview at 4 PM.
The interview was actually funny. His marketing knowledge was about 5 definitions he got online, I felt stupid but… again… I was desperate.
The interview was over, and I knew that I was accepted without being informed.
6:30 PM, same day, I got the call… The weird lady informing that I’m accepted and I can start tomorrow!!
11-8-2014 – First Day at Work
I didn’t work… Ta ta Taa!!
I arrived at 10 AM sharp. They asked me to pick a chair and sit for a while. There were 2 other girls who came for summer training for a month. I was told that they will work with me.
The three of us sat at the same desk, drinking coffee, chatting and waiting for the guy who is supposed to tell us what we will do. Finally, they guy arrived and gave us a brief about the agency, and then we continued our coffee and conversations till 3 PM when the electricity went off till 5 PM.
The work day was officially over, I went home, and that’s it.
