YOU can change the world with a simple idea, and it might not be as hard as you think it is.
Nowadays, there are various ways to share your ideas and present them to the world, however, they are not direct, and are not the fastest.
Sure, you can make a blog and present your idea, or share it through social media, but not everyone will care to listen to your idea or give it a chance.
But, what if I can assure you that there is a way that everyone in front of you will be listening to your idea with interest, and giving it every possible chance and may even help you make it real.
One of the best ways to spread your idea and share it with others is through TED.
If you are not familiar with TED, it is a non-profit organization devoted to spreading ideas, branching from TED is TEDx which supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community.
The thought of the ability to create such an event, and make a difference has slipped into the minds of a couple of students and a group of teachers, and it kept growing in their heads, until they decided that their dream should become reality.
And thus, the story of TEDxManaratAlFaroukSchool has begun.
TEDxManaratAlFaroukSchool’s main purpose is to help spread ideas, but that does not mean that it is what we are all about. Our goal is to engage the youth to share ideas through a TEDx platform.
We have proven that youth are able to work with adults, and young minds can contain creative and valuable ideas. Our team contains members from 14 to 35 years old, and we have succeeded at creating an educational environment, that allows youth to learn from adults, and vice versa.
We may not be the first to host a TEDx event, but we are the first licensed national school to host such a prestigious event.
We might not be able to change the whole world in one go, but it will at least change one person’s life or way of thinking, either a listener or a speaker. And if that happens, then all the hard work we have done is worth it, because the change of one person could lead to another’s and so on. Thus, creating a great ripple effect, until a whole community of great minds full of ideas is created. Such community could change the whole world. We are not alone, we are proud to be part of a bigger community full of dynamic TEDxers that believe in the power of ideas.

Nothing is impossible, if you believe in the power of your dreams.
We believe we can make a difference. And so can YOU.
