No matter how many times we failed, and how many times we spent studying subjects we do not like, all of us wasted more time in the past and missed a lot of opportunities, but there’s no need to cry over spilled milk as long as we are still alive. We will have more chances and a lot of opportunities in the future.

So, from your situation, you have to move away from negative thoughts and adopt a positive thinking attitude. The obvious challenge you will face in the beginning of your career is not getting a job with a good salary or passing a difficult interview. All of these are good things I know, but the thing that you should highlight is to believe in yourself and that you have the ability and power to achieve your dreams and the impossible too.

In this article, we will discuss some issues related to career development and focus on four factors you should keep in mind and use them as a reference. If you are an employer, a job seeker or even a CEO, you must follow these tips and apply them in your career.

1- Trust in your powers:

When you trust in your powers, you will achieve your goals and you will use your skills in the best way. First, you should have a passion for what you do; if you do not have it, you must seek it. If you cannot find it, you are committed to create it, for example, in my first job, I searched for my passion for a long time, in this company I worked as a legal researcher, data entry specialist and more, after 2 years of searching and persistence I succeeded and found my passion. It has been in the marketing field. Then I decided to resign and start discovering a new career path with a spirit of adventure.

2- Do what you love:

Take this statement as a principle in your life; by doing what we love, we will be the person we want to be.  A common mistake, which is made by a lot of us, is doing what others dictate to us like when your mother advises you to study law but you hate it, or to work as a journalist while you do not see writing as a job. In this situation, the person chooses satisfying others’ desires not his, so find your passion and do what you love then put a goal at the end of every stage to keep motivating yourself.

3- Don’t forget training:

I will tell you a story about my friend, Jasmine graduated from the Faculty of Commerce in 2009. After graduation, she thought about how to develop herself to get a good job. She found that the optimal decision is to undergo training in a company to get the experience she wants and take the first step in her career. She joined a company specialized in the medical industry as a junior accountant, her wishes to be an accountant manager shined in her prospects as a star in every day and in every moment. Therefore, if you train hard, you will get good job positions, always be positive, be creative as much you can and never give up.

4- Have a scheduled plan:

Whatever efforts we make, it means nothing without thoughtful planning. A good plan means productivity and successful results. The first step is putting a plan then getting a job not the other way around. During planning, you must extract all your values to position them in the correct way. Do not neglect your skills and be careful to develop them. Skills are the most important value you should acquire in your preparation period. In addition to planning your goals and developing your skills you should control your life, time management is the best way to achieve goals in time.

Conclusion:

Assuming you never planned your goals and never developed your skills, or you have not found your passion yet, you can consider what is done is done, it’s time to take a new step in your career and look at what is done as a good experience that you learned from. Go ahead, take a step and rely on God.
